On May 30, 2025, sisters Paityn (9), Evelyn (8), and Olivia (5) Decker were last seen leaving their Wenatchee home for a court-mandated custody visit with their father, Travis Decker. He told their mother, Whitney Decker, that he would return them by 8 PM, but they never came back. Concern quickly grew when he stopped responding to calls, and the girls were reported missing, prompting an urgent search.

On June 2, authorities located Travisโ€™s abandoned 2017 white GMC pickup near Rock Island Campground in Chelan County, Washington. Inside the vehicle were his personal belongings, including his wallet and cellphone. Nearby, the bodies of the three girls were discovered. Investigators later confirmed they had died from suffocation, and the case was officially ruled a homicide.

Travis Decker is now wanted on multiple serious charges, including three counts of first-degree murder, kidnapping, and custodial interference. A large-scale manhunt involving federal and local agencies was launched and continues as authorities work to track him down.

Evidence collected from the scene included blood traces linked to Travis, along with other forensic findings. His dog was also recovered alive and taken into care. Officials believe he may still be on the run and could be armed or dangerous.

Background information reveals that Travis was a military veteran who had struggled with mental health challenges and unstable living conditions. Court records had previously required him to attend counseling and anger management as part of his custody agreement.
